Validately Review: Secrets They Never Tell You About

validately review
Amongst many ways you can generate income – or at least get some extra bucks – online is through such called “user-testing sites”. Clear enough, all you have to do is, well, test sites.  After doing close research on the website, today I have decided to put everything I learned into paper, and share this Validately review with you.

You may have a few of them that you don’t really wish to squander your time on – like UserTesting – but not all of them are the same. Or, are they Before I delve into whether you can truly earn money with Validately, we should talk about what Validately is all about.

Here is what they will never tell you about Validetely!

What is Validately all about?

Validately is a user testing tool based in New York. They specialize in User Experience (UX) research for both desktop and mobile app screening. Validately belongs to the UserZoom Business, a UX Insights Company. They are a worldwide company, with offices in the United States, Spain, and the UK.

Companies use UserZoom to get qualitative and quantitative UX info for their services or products –  especially the digital ones. This is the kind of information companies can use to choose whether a product is successful or not and if it isn’t, what changes have to be made.

Userzoom got Validately in June of 2019. This deal has helped UserZoom customers to work together on a broader scale and share insights with essential team members and stakeholders There’s likewise been a broader mix of testing capabilities for both moderated and unmoderated testing. Because the digital world is ever-evolving, they enable users to register as testers.

A number of well-known brands utilize Validately such as Microsoft, Allstate, Amazon, and Google. Validately gives them an opportunity to improve their products or services by going directly to real-life individuals who could be possible product users.

How Validately works

When you have a match for a test, you can click the link in your email to get more detailed instructions and accept the project. Validately says that there are tests offered daily, however you may not see them that often due to the fact that you will not always be a good match for a test.

Before taking a test, make sure you check your device out to guarantee that it’s all working decently. If not, you won’t be able to get paid for your test.

You’ll get a set of directions that you’ll have to follow for each site test. These guidelines detail any jobs you need to do while on the site, like clicking on certain links, scrolling, or adding something to a cart to see if everything works.

As you take a test, you need to speak your thoughts out loud due to the fact that this is what owners of the websites will utilize as feedback to improve. Say anything you’re thinking during the test: like what you think works well or anything you struggled with. Some tests may also have specific concerns for you to respond to, so ensure you write them down and answer them during the test.

When you’re finished with the test, there will be some follow-up questions for you to answer based on your experience with that site. Ensure you finish these, too, or you’ll run the risk of not getting paid for the test!

Some of these tests are on the shorter side, around 5 minutes approximately, but most of them will remain in the 10 to 15-minute variety.

What you need to sign up with Validately

Except that you need to be at least 18 years of age, here are some more boxes you have to tick to be able to join Validately:

  • PC or mobile device
  • A high-quality microphone
  • Strong internet connection
  • Google Chrome internet browser (or Microsoft Edge for desktop tests)
  • Good English interaction skills

How to get started on Validately

To sign up with Validately is entirely free. This is something I always pay attention to when it comes to websites that promise to pay you. You don’t want to pay for anything just to try to get paid.

The first step to joining is to create an account with Validately. This is what they will ask you upon signing up:

  • What kind of mobile device do you use?
  • What kind of computer do you own?
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Education level
  • Work status
  • Job title
  • Yearly Income
  • Full name
  • Email
  • PayPal account
  • Timezone

All of these questions are asked so that they can determine your demographic for the kinds of tests they might send your way. Of this, just hit the sign-up button, and boom, your set-up is done. Well, almost.

Next, you’ll get an email from Validately to complete the set-up process which needs a screener test.

Passing the test

The screener test will confirm whether you are well suitable for working for Validately. This test will take roughly one minute to complete. There are a few important points that Validately needs you to meet in order to take tests:

  • Not a slight background sound
  • Check out every job aloud
  • Video camera required
  • Speak ideas aloud
  • Answer follow-up concerns

By meeting all these criteria, you will be able to pass the screener test. You will receive a follow-up email that will let you if you passed or failed.

Validetely review: Is it legitimate or a scam?

The Validately platform is not recognized nor ranked with the Better Business Bureau as of today. On the TrustPilot review site, the company has a typical ranking of 3 out of 5 stars throughout all reviews.

The business has much stronger evaluations on G2.com with 4.5 out of 5 stars. Users applauded Validately on this evaluation site for having a friendly platform and simple testing procedure.

Based on our research it looks that the business is genuine with active members who are earning with them. Are they making a living? A very small percentage. But the users are earning something and the website is ultimately legit.

How much does Validately pay?

Test payments can vary depending upon how thorough they are and how long they’re expected to last. Typically, you can expect each 10 to 15-minute test to pay a minimum of $10. Longer tests or very technical tests pay a minimum of $40 per 30 minutes and $70 for 60 minutes. When you finish your trial test, also called a moderated test, you’ll get $25 since these tests are a little bit more involved with others.

You’ll need to do them with a live video and share your screen with a moderator to make sure you’re following all directions. Every test pays with PayPal, so you must make sure you have your PayPal e-mail address added to your account before you start working. As long as your test is completed according to requirements, you’ll receive your payment within 7 business days. You don’t have to wait until you reach a minimum cash-out requirement.

It seems like a bargain to get paid an amount of $10 per every 10-15 minutes of site testing; but that is not the whole picture. Many user-testing websites – including Validately – will not offer you more than a couple of user tests weekly(or even a month).

However, if you want to give Validately a shot, then go and sign up for absolutely free, and you might well make some extra bucks along the way!
